Jason Ruffner
Information Systems Technology
Jason was selected as Cass Career Center's May Student of the Month. Jason, a senior at Archie High School, is a second year student in CCC's IST program and also a two year member of the SkillsUSA organization. Jason was selected for his leadership and knowledge of his trade.
Jason was instrumental in the creation of CCC's "Video Chair," a project created by CAD, IST, Automotive, and Welding students. This glorified gaming chair resides in the break area at CCC, enjoyed by students of all programs during their respective breaks within their three hour block class time. Jason is also a superior problem solver, assisting with various computer issues, and he also serves as a mentor to other students.

Kris Friesz
Practical Nursing
Kris was selected as Cass Career Center's April Student of the Month. Kris is a student in CCC's 10 ½ month practical nursing program for adults, which prepares students to sit for the state certification exam. Students successfully passing the NCLEX exam are qualified to provide direct patient care as licensed practical nurses in the state of Missouri.
Kris was selected because he persistently has a positive attitude, pays attention to deadlines, works well with others, and is truly dedicated to behaving in a professional manner on any given school day or at any school function. Kris is an excellent representative for our practical nursing program and will make an excellent healthcare worker.

Tracy Payne
Health Science

Tracy was selected as Cass Career Center's March Student of the Month. Tracy, a junior at Harrisonville High School, is in her first year of CCC's Health Science program and is also a member of the SkillsUSA organization. Tracy was selected for her consistent hard work and dedication to her trade.
Tracy comes to class and attends her clinical rotations each day with a smile on her face and prepared for whatever the day may bring. Her evaluations from the various clinical sites in Harrisonville have been superior; Tracy is always willing to learn new tasks and is described as being respectful of doctors, nurses, and patients alike. We are extremely proud to have a student like Tracy represent CCC's Health Science program.

Ken Iiams
Construction Technology
Ken was selected as Cass Career Center's February Student of the Month. Ken, a senior at Archie High School, has been an active member of CCC's Construction Technology program and SkillsUSA organization for two years. Ken was selected for his tremendous leadership and dedication to his trade.
Ken is a senior leader in his Construction Technology class, serving as mentor to other students. He is also a student liaison for Cass Career Center, having lead student tours to those interested in attending CCC. Ken has also devoted time outside of school to help work on and transport the cabins built by CCC's Construction Technology class. Ken is a tremendous asset to the Construction Technology program and is well-prepared to begin his next step preparing for his future.

Breanna Gale
Life Careers
Breanna was selected as Cass Career Center's January Student of the Month. Breanna, a senior at Pleasant Hill High School, has been an active member of CCC's Life Careers program and SkillsUSA organization for two years. Breanna was selected for her constant patience and willingness to always help others.
In SkillsUSA, Breanna serves as Parliamentarian for CCC's Executive Council and earlier this year, Breanna attended the SkillsUSA State Leadership Conference in Jefferson City. Breanna is also a senior leader in her Life Careers class, serving as president. She is a very focused and conscientious student, attributes that will serve her well in the future.

William Tosh
Health Science
William was selected as Cass Career Center's December Student of the Month. William, a senior at Belton High School, has been an active member of CCC's Health Science program and SkillsUSA organization for two years. William was selected for his positive attitude and dedication, consistently serving as a role model to his peers.
In SkillsUSA, William participated in the Medical Terminology contest, placing first in district competition and eighteenth in the state of Missouri. He is a senior leader in his Health Science class, always willing to help others regardless of what he may working on at the time. William is very dedicated to pursuing a career in health care; currently, he plans to earn his advanced degree in Physical Therapy.

Calvin Cruce
Automotive Technology
Calvin was selected as Cass Career Center's November Student of the Month. Calvin, a senior at Harrisonville High School, has been an active member of CCC's Automotive Technology program and SkillsUSA organization for two years. Calvin was selected for his honor and sincerity, traits he demonstrates not only during school, but during all his activities.
Recently, Calvin found a lost iPod, and he was determined to find the rightful owner. Calvin's sincerity is an attribute that can be uncommon these days and is one that is greatly appreciated. As for Calvin's future plans upon graduation, he has enlisted with the United States Marines, further demonstrating his honor and dedication to serve.

Chris Roth Agriculture Program
Chris was selected as Cass Career Center's October Student of the Month. Chris, a sophomore at Harrisonville High School, has been an active member of CCC's FFA organization through his agriculture classes for two years. Chris was selected for his honesty and integrity, traits he demonstrates not only during school, but during all his activities.
Chris' Supervised Agriculture Experience Project has grown from five acres of corn and soybeans last year to over forty acres this year. Chris' soybeans earned a Gold Rating at the Missouri State Fair this past summer. Currently, Chris is working on a speech for the Missouri Farm Bureau FFA Speaking Contest.

Tyler Pippen
Welding
Tyler was selected as Cass Career Center's September Student of the Month. Tyler, a senior at Belton High School, has been an active member of CCC's SkillsUSA organization through his welding class for two years. Tyler is a conscientious student,
working hard in class while maintaining a part-time job out of school as well.
This summer at the national SkillsUSA competition in Kansas City, Tyler devoted much of his time assisting CCC's SkillsUSA organization. Most appreciatively, Tyler did most of the cooking for two days while at competition!
